I looked in the mirror today and barely recognized myself

The creature behind the reflection stared at me with surprise

There was an inexplicable fury behind that feral gaze

Where did all this anger come from?

Words clutter in my throat

I scratched my neck, desperate

And when I opened my mouth I howled

I just needed to lose control for a moment.

Having a moment of madness can save a day of common sense
